Saw David Gray at the Avalon last month - what a crazy dude! You've gotta respect someone who goes from singing and playing guitar to singing and rocking out on the keyboard between verses in a song. Seriously. Also saw Jack Johnson this month and must say that I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would - always good!

And I'd like to take a moment to promote an awesome awesome guy - a singer/songwriter from Abilene, TX by the name of Micah P. Hinson. You MUST listen to him at www.micahphinson.com - I think he's somewhere between a young Dylan, Waits and... something intangible. But man, the dude sings his heart out. Go see him if you can - he's opening for Mr. Gray and then going home (straight from the horse's mouth) so catch him before he's gone!
